Title
Passwording a Seminar Room

Content

Has anyone discovered how to password a seminar room so that you can prevent unauthorized entry?  Release 8.0 gives you three options, and none seem to offer a good solution.  If you block guests, no one can enter.  I haven't found the key to registering guests so that only registered guests gain entry.  There has to be a simplier method for closing off access that isn't painful to implement.

Thanks for your help.

You are in luck! In Adobe Connect 8, you are able to set a meeting room passcode. This option is in addition to your three access options. You still need to determine whether or not you would like to provide guest access, etc. Under these options, you will see an optional room passcode field. If you do not see this field, an administrator will need to go under Users and Groups / Edit Login and Password Policies and select "enable meeting hosts to enforce passcode for room access."

Hope this helps!
